The report was thorough and we had a phone call with the surveyor after to talk through any concerns or questions we had from the report, which was very helpful. We decided to pay extra for the surveyor to estimate any costs for repairs for things found in the survey. However, after speaking with the surveyor on the phone, we found that these repairs were exaggerated and more of a worst case scenario rather than actual recommendations that should be done. The initial reading of the cost guidance was quite alarming, and we felt that the surveyor just put things on there purely to make sure that something was written so that the extra money we spent was kept. Overall, would recommend but probably don't need to spend the extra money for the cost guidance as you can just request quotes for repairs yourself anyway.

A bit sloppy for 500GBP work, will see if they will react and fix it fast - may increase rating UPD: bumped to 4 stars, they've fixed all their mistakes quickly + contacted via phone to understand what's wrong.
